Although this appears to be monochrome it’s actually painted with deep blue and dark green inks. Developed from sketches that I made in the Berkshire countryside near my home, this is an impression of an early Spring morning walk when the sun is not at it’s full strength, but full of promise. This is one of a pair of paintings, both come in a plan black frame and would be perfect on a dark feature wall of a home.
