In this piece, I wanted to explore the drama of a gathering storm over the hills. The focus is on the contrast between the dark, saturated indigo of the sky and the pale, reflective light on the water below. By keeping the middle ground soft and hazy, I’ve tried to capture that specific damp, cool air that rolls in across the loch as the weather changes so quickly in this beautiful part of the world.

This painting comes framed behind glass with a white mount and a modern pale grey frame, strung and ready to hang.
