This is one of a pair of abstract paintings based sketches I made on a walk in Heddon Valley, Devon. When the sun finally broke through the stormy clouds and the wind picked up there was a sharp contrasting light that I wanted to capture. The painting has strong blues and turquoise tones with bright red and mustard accents as well as pale greens in the foreground.
This painting comes in a modern white frame, strung and ready to hang.
