This piece comes from a morning walk in a quiet meadow where the pathway that I used to use had become overgrown with a carpet of wild flowers. I painted it mostly from sketches, but enhanced the colours and flowers. I just wanted to capture the feeling of being outside, and trying to hold on to it.
