Sunflowers in Ink and Watercolour

Friday 25th July 2025, 10.00 – 4.00

This course is perfect for artists of all levels who want to explore the beauty of sunflowers through watercolour and ink. To ease yourselves into this challenging medium you can try combing watercolours with acrylic inks which will do some of the groundwork for you, so you can then be free and expressive with the watercolour paint. You’ll learn essential techniques like colour mixing, layering, and loose brush work to create stunning, expressive floral paintings. Guided step by step, you’ll capture the warmth, texture, and radiance of sunflowers while enhancing your artistic skills. Join us and bring the joy of sunflowers to life with your brush and palette.

I teach all abilities – those that are already painting and would like to improve their skills and beginners that have just discovered their love of painting. Each workshop covers a specific subject in which I teach various techniques that you can transfer to other subjects in your art practice. You will be learning in a friendly environment in a small group (maximum of 10), so that you receive plenty of attention and learn at you own pace. If you would like to come along to any of them, please email me at art@elizabethbaldin.co.uk.
