Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or overcoming self-doubt, I will help you enjoy the process and discover the joy of painting. No experience needed and all materials will be provided. With step-by-step guidance, you will build confidence and explore essential techniques like tonal washes, blending, layering, and using the right amount of water and paint to help you to achieve more predictable results.

Dramatic Skies in Watercolour Workshop £85

Designed for artists with some experience of watercolour, this workshop will focus on techniques to capture the ever-changing light and atmosphere of dramatic skies. Learn how to paint clouds with depth and texture, explore the shifting colours of skies at dawn and dusk. Through step-by-step demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll develop expressive approaches to light, tone, and contrast. Learn at your own pace and in a small friendly group.

Flower Garlands in Watercolour Workshop

Discover the joy of painting flowers in a loose, expressive watercolour style that focuses on spirit and movement over botanical precision. This workshop isn’t about counting petals but more about capturing the essence of a blooms and leaves and arranging them into floral garlands.
Gain confidence in your brushwork with gestural strokes. You’ll learn how to use the shape of your brush to suggest form, using lost and found edges.
Learn to mix vibrant colours directly on the paper, allowing colours to bleed and flow.
Paint spontaneously without the fear of mistakes. Celebrate happy accidents, splashes, the runs, and unexpected bleeds.
I teach all abilities – those that are already painting and would like to improve their skills and beginners that have just discovered their love of painting. Each workshop covers a specific subject in which I teach various techniques that you can transfer to other subjects in your art practice. You will be learning in a friendly environment in a small group (maximum of 10), so that you receive plenty of attention and learn at you own pace.
